About the only thing we know for certain in Souvenir is that the Flash animation is brilliant. Short of that, we're not sure what the hell is going on. But there's a hot babe, an awesome Captain Nemo-like submarine and elements of black magic… What more do you need?

I enjoy flash. And hope more films are made using it. This one is great.

Great character illustration and shot composition. Not an exceptional story but satisfying nonetheless.

Kirk does great work-very talented, great music and the animation on his website is amazing also!

One of the best I have ever seen. This succeeds on every level: the, story, the art, the movement and the superb music. The use of black and white is a master stroke. I had to view this one several times. It's truly impressive that the art, animation and music are all the product of one person. Talent like this must be inherited.

Maybe you gotta be a guy to get this. I'm not and I don't.

Great animation and imagery. But what was it about?

kingkhem2/28/07

VERY GOOD. QUITE SURREALISTIC

Airtai2/26/07

Very interesting. Recruitment at its finest.... darkest... form. Taking innocent tourists, targeting those that buy that souvenir from them, sinking their ship (in this case), and taking them in to the realms of Hell... or whatever realm they're in!Makes you think twice about buying souvenirs... hehehe ;)

Great film. I use it in an English Class in Saudi Arabia. I have the students write a dialog or a narration for the film.

Excellent animation! LOVE the sci-fi element. Very twilight zone-esque.

dbanimate2/22/07

Very very well done : ) Although unlike the above reviewer's comment, I think it's pretty obvious what is going on, don't you? Very tightly woven story. One of the best out here.
