very interesting video, i like the lighting and the ending although hard to understand if your not a gamer is funny and a good twist. i think the sound during the action scenes could be a bit better maybe but it still came together very nicely.

I loved it! I love the car AND the physics. In video game context it was perfect. He racked up so many drift points! My jaw hung open for the entire chase scene. You can guess the ending and still get off on it. I thought it ran like a racing game anyway, especially once the chase started. The last thing I expected was for my guess to be spot on ( I guess that's a twist there) but it was still fun.

Good action sequences, but the car chase seems like a cut scene from a video game...okay...that was my original thought before I'd seen it all the way through. Not a bad idea, but not a big surprise...Glad I saw it, wouldn't be bothered if I didn't. Top notch for entertainment factor.

AMAZING MOVIE!- If this was available to purchase as a download. I would actually pay money for this. This is why I LOVE film so much. As a medium, it allows one to temporaily suspend reality. Evokes an involuntary emotional response. Fantastic!- Let me know if it ever goes on sale to purchase this short.

Well Played... I enjoyed every second. I really loved the the sudden appearance at the appartment. The Thrills are well contructed and keep building. The animation is very well mixed, I found it easy to enjoy the story. The falling letters in the opening sequence were. The film definatly has that Matrix feel throughout, lots of green . I thought the sidways jet and the train seem a little over the top for me. But then agian, its just a game.........right?

Actually, I did see the end coming because the action sequences were so far fetched that it the conclusion was the only plausible outcome. It's still good, but a little over the top on believability (in terms of action).

Well some, Im assumeing grad students from Cal Arts, just earned themselves a job. The only thing that stood out in my mind as a negative was your over use of car physics. I understand that you probably did this under the assumption that it would be acceptible given its video game pretense. I just felt it out of place with your otherwise seamless picture. Ok there are some really simple minded comments here. How u cannot understand the ending/plot is beyond me, its so simple, i knew the ending as soon as u see the level one sign. And yes a car can't outrun jets, but its spose to be a game, but then its spose to be realistic game so its a catch 22. Its dark for a reason, so the graphics dont stand out too much. Anyway Good script, old ending, nice graphics and action. I enjoyed it for its mindless fun.

This short film did EXACTLY what it was supposed to do.....grabbed my interest, held me and took me for a great ride! I found it more entertaining than a lot of the films that Hollywood crams down our throats today... A lot of action packed into a short time. No, I don't think it would make a feature film....it would become too plodding and the ending would become obvious in a very short time. VERY well done short film, nonetheless. :)

oh my god. that has got to be the highest budget short film i have ever seen. it's almost creepy. it's like a full length feature compressed into 15 minutes of dark, smooth action...im gonna have to think about that ending for a bit. thats really cool...i definitely had to watch it a few times over, just because...wow.

Words Fail me. The graphics are convincing, yet CG and there lies the brilliance. People use CG all the time to capture impossible events, but at the end you'll understand why this film has it. The ending has a "Keyser Soze" magic to it. One word...Unforgettable.

First off, this movie is totally badass! Second, I was really afraid that the whole mystery thing was going to be something stupid and redundant that is kind of twisted but has actually been done a thousand times before, but NOPE, this was extremely creative a new twist on a common theme that it isn't really possible to see coming. I have a habit of rearranging every word I look at and suspected from the start that the title was something to do with player one. Didn't bet on the ending I saw though. The chase scene in the subway was a nice tribute to Mission Impossible. Loved it.

The guys who did this are extremely talented. They brought together all the elements of the best action films made in the last 5 to 7 years. The Matrix Trilogy, the Jason Bourne movies and wrapped it all in a package to appeal to the video game generation. Needless to say, I watched it again. I love the way it makes my heart beat fast just by watching. If you really get into the whole thing, it is like you are playing the game. I hope these guys go to the big screen one day.

This is very well made film for the amount of money it was made for. I heard about this film time ago and it was made for at least 80,000 euros. You have to be stupid to think this movie is dumb. The action scene, script, and everything else is top notch in this short. A must see for any action or thriller film fan.

This was not only a fantastic idea, but it was executed extremely well too. I thought that the special effects were really well done for the film, but a little shotty. Now, they seem much better. The cinematography was some of the best I have seen of any short on this website. This is definately one of the best shorts I have seen here. Well acted, well directed, great action, and an awesome twist at the end. I hope this wins some good awards at film festivals.
