Interesting story concept but pacing is off and some beats should have been reordered. You give away too much too soon. With a re-edit you could shape the story more effectively. The tendency to resort to on-the-nose profanity takes away from what could have been more unique characterizations. Metaphor is always more interesting than spelling it out.
