This is such a beautiful film. It is really set out from any other I have seen. The way the angles and shots piece together just what is going on, without giving too much away, is wonderful and a rare treat. The design used for portraying feelings, and the short glances and stares get the mind working. Wonderful I say!

There is a clear and definite right and wrong in this situation. However, one's biology does not always agree with morality. People are conflicted with what has been GIVEN to them psychologically and what they consciously BELIEVE. Whether or not the man sexually abuses his daughter is irrelevant; the desire still exists. Nevertheless, he is a good father. In this respect, one can see that human being are complex creatures capable of being two completely contradictory entities at the same time.

very disturbing but nonetheless brilliant. it really makes you think about issues like that. as daddy's little girl things like that ocassionaly crosses my mind. but my dad is not like that.

A little predictable, twisted and it lacked solid proof it wasn't really his own kid. A few scene cuts were not up to par, but over all, it was a fare film. If I had the option, I would not give it a thumbs up or down.

Good production values, but while I didn't guess the ending, it wasn't exactly amazing and certainly the film seemed to hinge upon it. There had not been enough character development for the father to justify his desire.

I didn't like this film. I have a very attractive daughter,17,,, and the place she lives in my heart, wouldn't allow even mental imagies of her naked. I've had them, but my god , I am her father, the man in her life, who is to teach her how a man should treat her. ,,,,I remember the day I found out she wasn't a virgin anylonger,,, I wept. It is her life, and body after all.

This is a beautiful film both in its visual presentation and its psychological exploration. The subject matter taps into pedophilia and incest, sure, but it explores both sexual taboos as they are in the form of fantasies. It explores the problems before they manifest themselves into reality, which is what makes this film so powerful to me. Wonderful work!

THe sick tormented mind of a father and his daughter is not a very suitable clip for all viewer. I don't think anyone should enjoy this. If one does enjoy it your sick. It but only feeds the evil in this world. For the prodicer to come up with this idea he must have done it himself.

it's sad, so sad. all the evil that goes on in a man's head, in a father's head. the film was truthful, it was honest and it leaves a bad taste. i agree with 11/24/06 not a good subject choice all the time.

*The movie was great and so intriguing to watch, but for those of you who did not understand what happened here it is - there was NO incest. the woman he slept with was not his daughter - it was a prostitute he hired to look like his daughter because of his fantasies he has with her. big difference - its brilliant. pay attention next time and you'll actually understand.

The plot was a bit predictable. At first, I thought it was his mom when he went into her room, but his little sister was much better. I don't know why people are giving this thumbs down for being "wrong". This is in the Sick

Of course the film is well made,..but: when on earth will poeple realise that the serious movie watcher is sick and tired for the endless, endless use of pedophilia and/or incest as a 'shock' theme. It requires a particularly weak imagination for this. It is also so exploitative it makes us feel worse for the filmmaker than any supposed 'agressor'. For God's sake, some change of thematic obsession please!

A very powerful film. We only hear of those who commit horrible crimes... but what of those who do whatever it takes not to. To remain law abbiding. IT must be hard.. very hard If you can contain it. PRAY and DONT DO IT! Peace
