I don't agree with Kraos. I watched this film more than once and this is a fan film and it comes off well going by those standards. I thought the acting was uneven that some were better than others. It was not terrible. The music was great. You can't please everyone. I am sure some people think that the original Star Wars series is terrible also.

Wow, this film really turned the orders upside-down. The Jedi were smarmy, the Sith were controlled, and the stormtroopers had grimy armor! I loved the plot twists and original thinking. 5 stars, and I'm looking forward to a possible sequel! (Do they find Luke?)

This is one of, if not, the best fan films I've ever seen! You get mad props from me. All the people who gave this a thumbs down are just haters who probably couldn't do this no matter how hard they tried or how much money they had. Sure it's not at George Lucas level, but what is (apart from Spielberg)? You guys came pretty da-mn close for being just fans. I WANT TO SEE MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE!

I really enjoyed it! Liked the not so polished stormtroopers I must say. Kinda felt like they just came from another mission and were called in to assist. Or have fallen on hard times with the fall of the empire.. Liked the acting too. I've always felt like the jedi/sith in the movies were acting a bit too sissylike when they fought considdering the kind of power they were supposed to be wielding..

Down with the naysayers. So what if it looks like a TV episode. I'm sure all of us have seen Babylon 5, Star Trek TOS, BSG TOS, etc. etc. but what drew us to those shows was our SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF. It was about the story. And IMO, Lucas shold develop this one. REBEL SITH!!! That's Awesome. And BTW the SFX were pretty damn good for a short. These guys don't have the budget of FOX.

Outstanding! The Wookiee needs to learn more than one gargle LOL, but honestly, great job! You had some nice aliens tossed into the background, and the part where the sith lord pulls his lightsaber from his own severed hand with the force was a great touch! Very much looking forward to whats next. And "I have a bad feeling about this." is a must for any SW fan scene.

I give you an A for effort, the special effects were formidable, but the acting was so-so, and the DARK LORD wasn't so DARK and fear inspiring; he was disappointing. Though I did like that it took place after 'Return of the Jedi'.

It's only because Lucas raised the bar so high that by comparison this vignette seems a little weak in areas. The cinematography is crisp, the intro scene moves at a similar pace to SW:ANH, and the visual effects with the lightsabers and the Force-telekinesis are on par with Episodes II and III. I am bothered by the re-use of the canned fight scene, and by the somewhat sloppy form of the duels, but I believe that the post-production crew should be working for Skywalker Ranch.

Skystomper is on crack. What makes SW so great and unique is the Force, and to not feature it would be foolish. I'd like to see what any nay-sayers have made themselves and see if it stands up to our scrutiny. Also, an HD version of the film is online at spearshield***** (I did some looking) and it's definitely on par with anything on TV today. This film is the best I've seen and I really hope these guys have another one in the works.

Loved it! The saber fight could have been speeded up a little to make it seem quicker, but it was the best fan film I've ever seen, and there has GOT 2 b a sequel. The only thing missing was the star wars soundtrack, but there's copyright gonna b protecting that, so its not a major prob.

Wow! Superb in every aspect: I especially loved the original soundtrack (if it wasn't original, it definitely wasn't from Star Wars). The style and feel of the movie reminded me of the Jedi Knight live-action cutscenes, only better. I was expecting to be thrust into a duel at any moment! So great, and I absolutely loved the quality of the whole production! Please DO keep up the work and please make the sequel (or sequels would be preferred!)!!

This is a legitimate attempt to broaden the Star Wars story and introduce new characters to keep the story fresh and alive. It was realistic and the ending was superb in that in left you wanting to see a sequel. I hope these filmmakers will make more of these films. I hope they will try other genres as well.

That was fantastic!!!! You certainly do have a future in the film industry. Don't stop making films! In truth, I think I actually enjoyed you short more than I did the majority of moments in the actual Lucus Ep 1 - 3. I mean, way better acting. Although, I still liked them just b/c they were star wars. But again, fantastic job.
