this was pretty disappointing. i understand the allure of crude drawing, but there should be some substance there. this was crude drawing with crude subject matter and a pointless story. i got nothing out of this. have a look at david shrigley or don hertzfeld if you're interested in solid animation of this style.

All the highbrowed rationalizations I read in these reviews doesn't stifle the fact that if you want this type of humor, go have dinner with your redneck neighbor and spare your quiet moments at home with this type of purile intrusion. Eraserhead is one of my favorite movies. But this....

The delicious irony is that the very people who call this stupid, low-brow, redneck or fart humor are in a way the subject of the jokes. As David Lynch himself says, "if it is funny, it is funny because we see the absurdity of it all." Those who don't get it have too narrow a view to understand the humor of it.

I love the violence and the stories of the Dumbland Cartoon. He could proboally make a show out of it. The only thing this cartoon needs is coloring, and better animation. But it's pretty good considering i'm trying to animate and its really hard if u do it by yourself. So thumbs up!!
